Are you interested in Graduate School and Peace Corps? Why not do both. Master's International allows Volunteers to incorporate Peace Corps service as credit in a master’s degree program in a variety of fields at more than 80 academic institutions nationwide. Join us to hear opportunities available from three local universities; University of Colorado, the University of Denver and Colorado State University. Combined, these three universities offer Peace Corps Master's International degrees in Education, Business, Geography, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, Public Health, Agricultural Sciences, Food Science and Human Nutrition, and International Studies.

The Peace Corps is actively looking for the next generation of volunteers. International work experience and opportunities are available in over 70 countries where Peace Corps Volunteers perform a variety of jobs in business, education, community development, environment, health, information technology and agriculture.

Peace Corps benefits include medical, dental and housing, as well as a monthly stipend, transportation to and from your host country, graduate study benefits, 24 vacation days a year, and a $7,425 readjustment allowance after your 2-year service. Some student loans can be deferred during Peace Corps service. After your 2-year service, former Volunteers receive one year of noncompetitive eligibility for employment in the federal government.

The Peace Corps is a 27-month commitment, which includes 12 weeks of language training in the host country. We encourage you to apply a year before you want to depart.
